While this paper focuses on XYZCO's problem and solution, it can be applied to other industries that are looking to virtualize their data resources using information grid middleware. This paper provides a real-life scenario of how to use Avaki Data Grid software to provide a single, unified view of data across multiple data sources, hardware platforms, operating systems, and disk types.
